Jackson is the only man left standing that Liddell has not avenged a previous loss. The question is whether the Iceman is up to the challenge. This will be the ultimate test of the Iceman's skill and prowess in the octagon. While Liddell has had plenty of tough competition during his reign as the light heavyweight champion, Rampage definitely poses a much more immediate and serious threat. Rampage has been shown to have a strong chin and is very solid and agressive as a fighter. It will be interesting to see how Liddell has strategized his attack plan. The only way for Liddell to keep from being overwhelmed by Rampage is to keep moving in lateral motion and stay on his toes. Liddell may prove to be a shocker as always but there is NO WAY that Liddell can just come out and do his usual strategy and just throw blows with Jackson. Jackson has trained very hard for this opportunity and will definitely give the Iceman a run for his money. We will definitely find out how solid the Iceman is after this bout...Don't miss it...It promises to be a fight to remember. Gabriel Gonzaga shocked the world at UFC 70: Nations Collide in Manchester, England. Gonzaga was up for the fight of his life as many considered it against the heavily touted and revered former PRIDE star and newly annointed UFC superstar Mirko Crocop. Gonzaga had a look of ferocity in his eyes that just let you know that something big was about to go down. Crocop came into the arena with his usual blank, focused stare and looked ready for action as always. As soon as round one began you could tell that Gonzaga had done his homework and it was obvious this was going to be a great match, which it was...";s:10:"field_ft_1";s:5:"xhtml";s:10:"field_id_2";s:1852:"At the very start of the round you could see Gonzagas game plane unfolding and it was working well. Gonzaga began circling Crocop always staying to the outer reach of the very dangerous and powerful leg kicks that Crocop has finished so many off with in the past. Gonzaga was throwing constant jabs to the inside and making contact. Then Gonzaga shot in on Crocop and got the heavyweight to the ground and it was clearly obvious that Crocop was no match for Gonzaga on the ground. Gonzaga dropped a storm of vicious elbows down on Crocop and you could hear them make contact. The elbows were definitley hurting Crocop bad. Then in an unexpected move Herb Dean, refereeing the match stopped both the fighters for inactivity which clearly was not the case. Once on their feet the fighters began to make exchanges again. However, some feel that Mirko was more seriously hurt from the ground exchange than was believed. Which could be a good arguement considering the amount of punishment that he was taking on the exchange once back to their feet. Then it happened the moment that shocked MMA fans everywhere. Gabriel Gonzaga saw an opening in Mirkos' hand posture and throws a strong high right kick and drills Mirko dead in the temple above his left ear. Mirko dropped instantly and was completely out of it but Gonzaga, like a shark on blood, still swarmed in to land a few more shots to the face until Herb Dean quickly threw him back off Crocop. A lot of people did not give Gonzaga a snowballs chance. However, I knew from following him and reading all of his interviews that he was going to be a formidable opponent for Mirko. Many bet against him but I bet with him and I am glad to say that both Gabriel and myself made some money off of his fight that night...and I would like to thank him for the effort and contribution... :-) ";s:10:"field_ft_2";s:5:"xhtml";s:10:"field_id_3";s:0:"";s:10:"field_ft_3";s:5:"xhtml";s:10:"field_id_4";s:0:"";s:10:"field_ft_4";s:5:"xhtml";}i:2;a:75:{s:8:"entry_id";s:2:"25";s:9:"weblog_id";s:1:"1";s:14:"forum_topic_id";s:1:"0";s:9:"author_id";s:1:"1";s:10:"ip_address";s:14:"24.119.228.207";s:5:"title";s:33:"Guillard Busted for Substances...";s:9:"url_title";s:30:"guillard_busted_for_substances";s:6:"status";s:4:"open";s:11:"dst_enabled";s:1:"n";s:14:"view_count_one";s:1:"0";s:14:"view_count_two";s:1:"0";s:16:"view_count_three";s:1:"0";s:15:"view_count_four";s:1:"0";s:14:"allow_comments";s:1:"y";s:23:"comment_expiration_date";s:1:"0";s:16:"allow_trackbacks";s:1:"y";s:6:"sticky";s:1:"n";s:10:"entry_date";s:10:"1176979920";s:4:"year";s:4:"2007";s:5:"month";s:2:"04";s:3:"day";s:2:"19";s:9:"edit_date";s:14:"20070425231525";s:15:"expiration_date";s:1:"0";s:19:"recent_comment_date";s:1:"0";s:13:"comment_total";s:1:"0";s:15:"trackback_total";s:1:"0";s:15:"sent_trackbacks";s:0:"";s:21:"recent_trackback_date";s:1:"0";s:10:"blog_title";s:12:"Hands Of War";s:8:"blog_url";s:47:"http://www.handsofwar.com/index.php/site/index/";s:11:"comment_url";s:50:"http://www.handsofwar.com/index.php/site/comments/";s:13:"tb_return_url";s:50:"http://www.handsofwar.com/index.php/site/comments/";s:16:"comment_moderate";s:1:"n";s:22:"weblog_html_formatting";s:3:"all";s:21:"weblog_allow_img_urls";s:1:"y";s:21:"weblog_auto_link_urls";s:1:"y";s:17:"enable_trackbacks";s:1:"y";s:15:"trackback_field";s:1:"2";s:21:"trackback_use_captcha";s:1:"n";s:24:"trackback_system_enabled";s:1:"y";s:8:"username";s:7:"zakk123";s:5:"email";s:19:"info@handsofwar.com";s:3:"url";s:0:"";s:11:"screen_name";s:2:"CG";s:8:"location";s:0:"";s:10:"occupation";s:0:"";s:9:"interests";s:0:"";s:6:"aol_im";s:0:"";s:8:"yahoo_im";s:0:"";s:6:"msn_im";s:0:"";s:3:"icq";s:0:"";s:9:"signature";s:0:"";s:16:"sig_img_filename";s:0:"";s:13:"sig_img_width";s:1:"0";s:14:"sig_img_height";s:1:"0";s:15:"avatar_filename";s:0:"";s:12:"avatar_width";s:1:"0";s:13:"avatar_height";s:1:"0";s:14:"photo_filename";s:0:"";s:11:"photo_width";s:1:"0";s:12:"photo_height";s:1:"0";s:8:"group_id";s:1:"1";s:9:"member_id";s:1:"1";s:6:"bday_d";s:1:"0";s:6:"bday_m";s:1:"0";s:6:"bday_y";s:1:"0";s:3:"bio";s:0:"";s:10:"field_id_1";s:1099:"

Well the stage is all set now for the long awaited rematch between Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. Rampage is the last person to ever knock out the iceman in his proffesional mma career. The iceman is looking to avenge old losses and rampage is looking for a repeat and most importantly a chance to get some coveted UFC hardware around his waist. Rampage has been training with a great intensity and wants to show the UFC fans that he is the real deal and that he plans to take the stage in the UFC for a long time. The big throw down is scheduled to take place on May the 26th and promises to be a all out war. In a landmark announcement that rocked the MMA world the UFC announced that the much speculated purchase of the PRIDE fighting championship was true. The UFC does indeed own PRIDE. With the purchase of PRIDE Zuffa the company that owns the UFC has setup a seperate holding company called Pride FC Worldwide Holdings. The deal transfered over all of the current contracts held by PRIDE and all of the fighters along with the entire video archive owned by PRIDE. Fans of MMA are going wild and have already begun to come up with their all time favorite super matches between cross platform fighters. Personally I beleive that it is a great steup for MMA and could not come at a better time. The momentum currently experienced by the UFC in the United States is nothing to let slow. Now the UFC and mainly Zuffa can begin to unify the MMA image in the U.S. and begin to legitimize it even more in the eyes of mainstream sports authorities in the industry. Randy Couture against all odds demolished the betting lines and the doubters at UFC 68. Couture did far more than survive...";s:10:"field_ft_1";s:5:"xhtml";s:10:"field_id_2";s:2041:"Randy Couture showed up to his heavyweight title fight a changed man. Randy admitted that during his past several fights he had been very emotionally drained and just was not in a good mental place to be focused on his fighting. Randy says that now he is free from the worry and issues that were causing the drain on him during those previous few fights. Randy was going through a very messy divorce and was having to deal with that and all of the stress and headache that goes with it. However, he has now shed that skin and become a revitalized and changed man who is ready to reclaim the throne amid the UFC heavyweight division and boy did he reclaim it. Randy brought his "A" game to the heavyweight title fight against Tim Sylvia and right out of the gate Tim knew he was in for a long ride. Randy dropped Tim in the first 10 seconds of the fight with a viscious chin shot. Randy faked a leg kick and while Tim was focusing on the leg Couture sunk the hook that dropped Sylvia to the mat. Sylvia was very shaken by the shot and was clearly "dazed and confused" Couture momentarily shocked, with the picture perfect move he had been drilling for months, swarmed on Sylvia and mounted the attack. Randy Quickly got Sylvia rolled over and had the big mans back where the fight remained for the rest of the first round. The fight continued on those lines for the remainder of the next 4 rounds with Couture executing his plan to a T. Randy proceded to take Sylvia down at will, a feat that many before him have failed to accomplish. The fight truly was a work of art to watch. It is very rare that you see a fighter get to execute an entire gameplan to perfection as Couture did. A fighter may be able to lock in a few key nuances that he has drilled and exploit those but not to the extent that Couture carried out his mission. The fight was a pleasure to watch and what was even better than that was to see the legendary Randy Couture make UFC history and to see a true champion return to grace and re-claim his throne...";s:10:"field_ft_2";s:5:"xhtml";s:10:"field_id_3";s:0:"";s:10:"field_ft_3";s:5:"xhtml";s:10:"field_id_4";s:0:"";s:10:"field_ft_4";s:5:"xhtml";}}s:3:"row";a:75:{s:8:"entry_id";s:2:"27";s:9:"weblog_id";s:1:"1";s:14:"forum_topic_id";s:1:"0";s:9:"author_id";s:1:"1";s:10:"ip_address";s:13:"24.117.107.73";s:5:"title";s:33:"Is the Iceman Ready to Go to War?";s:9:"url_title";s:32:"is_the_iceman_ready_to_go_to_war";s:6:"status";s:4:"open";s:11:"dst_enabled";s:1:"n";s:14:"view_count_one";s:1:"0";s:14:"view_count_two";s:1:"0";s:16:"view_count_three";s:1:"0";s:15:"view_count_four";s:1:"0";s:14:"allow_comments";s:1:"y";s:23:"comment_expiration_date";s:1:"0";s:16:"allow_trackbacks";s:1:"y";s:6:"sticky";s:1:"n";s:10:"entry_date";s:10:"1179827220";s:4:"year";s:4:"2007";s:5:"month";s:2:"05";s:3:"day";s:2:"22";s:9:"edit_date";s:14:"20070522002455";s:15:"expiration_date";s:1:"0";s:19:"recent_comment_date";s:10:"1234290991";s:13:"comment_total";s:1:"4";s:15:"trackback_total";s:1:"1";s:15:"sent_trackbacks";s:0:"";s:21:"recent_trackback_date";s:10:"1190636235";s:10:"blog_title";s:12:"Hands Of War";s:8:"blog_url";s:47:"http://www.handsofwar.com/index.php/site/index/";s:11:"comment_url";s:50:"http://www.handsofwar.com/index.php/site/comments/";s:13:"tb_return_url";s:50:"http://www.handsofwar.com/index.php/site/comments/";s:16:"comment_moderate";s:1:"n";s:22:"weblog_html_formatting";s:3:"all";s:21:"weblog_allow_img_urls";s:1:"y";s:21:"weblog_auto_link_urls";s:1:"y";s:17:"enable_trackbacks";s:1:"y";s:15:"trackback_field";s:1:"2";s:21:"trackback_use_captcha";s:1:"n";s:24:"trackback_system_enabled";s:1:"y";s:8:"username";s:7:"zakk123";s:5:"email";s:19:"info@handsofwar.com";s:3:"url";s:0:"";s:11:"screen_name";s:2:"CG";s:8:"location";s:0:"";s:10:"occupation";s:0:"";s:9:"interests";s:0:"";s:6:"aol_im";s:0:"";s:8:"yahoo_im";s:0:"";s:6:"msn_im";s:0:"";s:3:"icq";s:0:"";s:9:"signature";s:0:"";s:16:"sig_img_filename";s:0:"";s:13:"sig_img_width";s:1:"0";s:14:"sig_img_height";s:1:"0";s:15:"avatar_filename";s:0:"";s:12:"avatar_width";s:1:"0";s:13:"avatar_height";s:1:"0";s:14:"photo_filename";s:0:"";s:11:"photo_width";s:1:"0";s:12:"photo_height";s:1:"0";s:8:"group_id";s:1:"1";s:9:"member_id";s:1:"1";s:6:"bday_d";s:1:"0";s:6:"bday_m";s:1:"0";s:6:"bday_y";s:1:"0";s:3:"bio";s:0:"";s:10:"field_id_1";s:1398:"

On May 26th at UFC 71 the Iceman will step into the Octagon to go to war with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
